Yesterday my friend Britni gave her Mom an early Mother’s day present. We surprised her at White Rock Lake with a mother-daughter photo session! So it’s only appropriate that I blog a few on Mother’s day! Enjoy!
It wouldn’t be a Mother + Daughter session without a few crazy shots..
Happy Mother’s day!
My sweet Aunt & Uncle just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary! They decided photos were in order as a part of their celebration, I couldn’t agree more. Enjoy photos of this sweet couple!
It was raining yesterday left and right. Tiffany and I had been back and forth trying to decide if we should go ahead with the shoot or reschedule. It would be raining one minute, then it would be bright and dry the next. Early in the afternoon I looked out my window to see the sun shining, then I walked outside and a torrential downpour immediately hit me. Hello Texas weather.
Tiffany and I decided to risk it anyway. I’m so glad we did! The sun and clouds were the perfect combination for this girl’s senior shoot. Tiffany’s sweet smile and giggly self was just about the easiest thing to photograph, ever. To top it all off, this girl has the serious face DOWN. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my Sunday afternoon!
Congrats Tiffany!
Happy Monday!
November was such a busy month! So busy in fact, I forgot to blog Jennifer + Manuel’s gorgeous evening wedding at City Club. Yes I know I’m 5 months late, but better late than never right?! Thanks Arden Prucha for having me as your second shooter for this sweet day.
Enjoy!
Their first look.
Mr + Mrs.
Matthew & Kristina’s sweet country wedding was the perfect way to start of wedding season! I had the privilege of second shooting this adorable day with Jessica Shae. Kristina planned their day without missing a single detail. Every inch of their ceremony and reception was the epitome of DIY sweetness. I loved that everything in her wedding was not done by professional vendors but by friends and family. Every detail, decoration, flower or antique was provided by someone who adore these two love birds. What a testament of the kind of people these two are.
Congrats Matthew & Kristina!
Um, yes. This IS an outdoor wedding chapel made by Kristina’s family. The Cost? $12. GET OUT! Love.
The most adorable reception ever…
Happy Monday!
If you have followed my blog for a while (or maybe you just know her. ha!) you will recognize this hilarious friend of mine, Tori. This lady can always brighten my day and never ceases to make me go into a laughing fit. She is one of the most joyful & beautiful people I know, inside & out. She is especially gorgeous when she is pregnant with a sweet little babe.
This is baby #2 for Tori. This time around she is waiting to find out if it’s a boy or girl until the baby is born! She definitely has more patience than I do! The planner within me would not be able to handle that. Ha! I’m beyond excited to see what her precious little one is! Either way, I’m sure it will be just as cute as her little red head at home. Believe me, that little guy could melt your heart in a second. Can’t wait to meet this new little one!

Previous Sessions with Tori & her adorable family:
Pin ItKatie & Jeff’s wedding day was so very sweet. Katie had been tweeting for months how excited and how close she was to marrying her best friend. The day was finally here! Seeing her walk down the aisle toward Jeff made their wedding one of the sweetest I’ve ever seen. They both were teary eyed and so incredibly happy to be getting married!
Katie worked the entire week before their wedding at the venue making sure everything was made and placed perfectly for their reception. She even made these flower tissue balls for the dance floor. LOVE them. Aren’t they gorge?!
I was melting over their cakes too. I’m loving this ombre ruffle cake for Katie and Star Wars cake for Jeff (a surprise from Katie).
At their rehearsal dinner, the wedding party surprised Katie & Jeff with a flash mob to be preformed at the reception! It was so fun to watch it all happen!

Happy Saturday!
Back in November, my roommate Britni asked me to take some photos of her and her best friend (my other roomie), Katie. Brit was surprising Katie for her birthday with a photo session after their trip to the dry bar, a super unique hair salon in Dallas. Britni definitely gets best friend points for this birthday idea! The dry bar (genius idea) + a photo session with your best friend? It doesn’t get better than that.
I have been so blessed this year to have amazingly sweet couples. I’ve gained so many friendships through my brides and I’m so glad all of these new friends are finally married!! It’s so exciting to get to experience the wedding day with them, start to finish. I get to see the nerves, laughter, tears and happiness. Thank you to all of you who have allowed me to be a part of your very special day! You’ve made my job so very worth it!
